At this point, Ben Simmons’ shooting woes and compatibility issues with teammate Joel Embiid are extremely well-documented. Things have changed recently with the Philadelphia 76ers however, with Daryl Morey running basketball operations and Glen “don’t call me Doc in Philly” Rivers running the show from court side. The much respected Doc Rivers is expected to get the most out of his two superstars, while helping them play together. No, Simmons will not suddenly become a sharpshooter under Rivers’ tutelage, but with the right offensive scheme, expect to see Simmons to finally take a step in the right direction of fulfilling his untapped potential.
